War Starfire or better known as "Baby" is a three year old 15H Appaloosa/QH gelding with an easy-going personality that he gets from his sire Zip's Commander. Starfire's pedigree includes AQHA greats Zippo Pat Bars, The Continental, Three Bars, Leo, Poco Pine, Noor Charge, Top Moon, Topofthemoon, his grand sire is Pretty Classy Zip and grand dam, Miss Nancy Can, is a superior halter mare. Starfire likes to be the center of attention and is always the first one to greet you at the pasture. There is no such thing as having to walk after him to catch him; he will always come to you no matter what. He was shown in 4H as a yearling before I had to discontinue and won all of his halter classes and lounge line classes. I've put a good 90 rides on him and he has been nothing but a dream. He does not have the personality you would expect out of a three year old. He rides with a bosal and is extremely light on the reins. He will probably never need to be ridden with a bit. He knows the basic commands (walk, trot, canter, back, and whoa). He'll give you get up and go when you ask it of him, but if it was up to him he'd rather take his time all day. He has never bucked, reared, or kicked. He stands still for the farrier and loads into the trailer easily. Its hard to spook him...he's more curious about what things are and likes to check them out.
