Meet Bos (Short for Bosley ... and formerly known as Boss)! He is a very special dog with a very unique story. This poor pup at only 1 1/2 old, has been through hell and back. He was confiscated from a building fire in the Bronx, NY where he was living in a small apartment with 14 other dogs. From there he landed in NYC Animal Care and Control where he spent six weeks waiting for someone to come love him.

While he has been making good progress in his foster home, we are searching for a single dog "forever" home for this sweet boy. We truly believe that a little bit of kindness paired with patience and some basic obedience training is all this injured little soul needs to get back on the right track. He has SO much to offer and really wants to please. He just needs a forever home that understands his special needs and will work with him. He will begin work with a professional trainer on June 2. These lessons will last for 12 weeks and it would be great if his new family could go through these lessons with him.

Bos has survived a neglectful living situation, a building fire during which he was bitten by another dog in the chaos, six weeks in a crowded city shelter and a 10 hour drive all the way to West Virginia. He's making great progress in his recovery and would love to have his "forever" family to help him with his next steps! Please help us help him find the loving home he so desperately deserves.
