| | | Important note about Dakota: He has a rare genetic condition (Boston Terriers don’t usually have blue eyes) and because of this he remain intact. We are told that Dakota makes a great daddy dog, but we think he’s just terrific as he is!
Dakota’s story:
We have one of those friendly farms that inherit dogs and cats out of the blue and Dakota was one of those pets.
Dakota was a puppy owned by an elderly couple. He was too frisky for them, at the time, so he came to our farm. He has mellowed significantly since then. These days, he’s got manners, a sense of humor and he yearns to play with a family.
About Dakota:
He loves toys, and to play games. He is tolerant of people putting doggie clothes on him. The elderly lady who originally owned him did this fairly often.
He travels well in cars and boats. He plays with cats and does not bite them. He likes children. He plays very well with them and likes the attention they afford him.
He was an inside dog when he lived with his original family so we would prefer a family that could keep him inside most of the time.
He’s smart, good with children and cats. He gets along with all of the animals at our farm including ducks, chickens, pigs, rabbits, and all of the farm hands! :D

He has been vet checked, wormed and has all of the shots except rabies.
He’s been started on revolution for flea tick heartworm prevention.
