| | | Seeking a Small Gelding, (14 hh - 14.3 hh). Must be sound, a good confirmation, and extremely calm. Need a well broke, EXPERIENCED trail horse for a BEGINNER rider. Car/Road traffic experience and friendly to other rider's horses in close proximity a necessity. Parade experience a plus.
Gentle disposition, good ground manners, stands for Farrier, ties, clips & bathes well, and loads/unloads in trailers easily. No vices.
The Gelding would be coming to a loving home/ranch with other family members' horses. Ridden on approximately 8 weekend trail rides per year and occasional playday rides on our ranch. No competitive experience needed, but arena training helpful.
Must be Coggins Negative and prefer horse domiciled in Texas to minimize travel/transport time. Also for pre-purchase exam by our Vet, (Houston/SE Texas). Availability of 2 week - 30 day trial, (lease) prior to purchase to observe and ride in new environment appreciated if possible.
