This is a 4 year old registered half Arab mare. She is half Arabian and half Saddle horse. She has been under natural horsemanship training since we bought her two years ago. I am selling her because the 17 year old girl that was apprenticing under me and training and caring for her, moved to the city and I don't have the time to keep up her training. I teach horsemanship classes every week to 4 other students and their horses plus train my own, so I have to very sadly sell her. She is worth a whole lot more than 800 but I am not looking to make money on her. I am looking for a good, caring, and loving home and someone who will appreciate her enthusiasm and spunk for life. I would not use her for a children's horse due to the fact that she is still in the beginning stages of riding and needs a confident leader to guide her and continue her training. She has never bucked and all of her training has been the Clinton Anderson and Pat Parelli methods. She has excellent groundwork, and moves very beautifully and gracefully.
Though she is half saddle horse she is not gaited. We have taken her to a natural horsemanship clinic 6 hours away in East Tennesee and she did really really well! She trailer loads nicely, stands for baths, easy to catch, very friendly and extremely smart.
If I found someone that really loved her and was going to give her an good home I would definitely consider taking less for her. Please let me know if you are interested in her. Her registered name is S.R.C Forever Covergirl, but we call her Scarlet :). She has an updated coggins and we keep her trimmed and dewormed regularly. She is a wonderful horse.
