I have a 3 year old basset hound up for adoption. He is beautiful. He is black and brown and low to the ground. He is very friendly and loves attention. He is good with other animals and children. He has done very well with meeting strangers. He is potty trained and can be trusted to be left alone in the house when not home. He does have accasional siezures. I spoke with my veterinarian and he told me that as few and far between as they are he doesn't need to be medicated. He checked out as a healthy boy.
