MARUKIN M410 58cm Fixed-Gear Road Bike

Custom retrofit and built for speed.

Metallic-Blue steel alloy 1984 frame, handmade in Japan by Marukin Cycle Co., S#DS526226. Ishiwata fork.

Bullhorn bars, new black cork wrap, 5.5" stem. Rebuilt CroMo quality loose-bearing headset.

Center-pull DiaCompe alloy brakeset, single-pull levers.
Custom SR crankset, alloy 170mm pedal arms, 52t chain ring with guard. Caged-bearing rebuilt bottom bracket.

Rims: New ALEX R450 700c alloy 6061 aero design, high-flange hubs, solid axle flip-flops with 1/8th new USA fixed 16t cog w/Shimano lock ring and new Shimano CroMo 1/8th 15t freewheel.

Tires: New Panaracer Stradius Sport 23c - blue w/black sidewalls. New presta valve-stem tubes.

Chain: Fitted 1/8th for both fixed or freewheel gears.

Vetta saddle, alloy post.

Reflectors front, back and on rims.

Pedals and/or kickstand can be included, added charge.

A pretty nice bike made in Japan, quality built. A company by the name of Hodaka (I think) in Japan is still making a Marukin line ... I'm happy with my Marukin.

I had mine a little over a year when it got stolen. My first love. It took me over a year to save the cash to replace it.

Marukin was one of many Japanese bikes imported in the early 1980's.... on the West Coast. Good quality bike but one of many that appeared then disappeared. Should be no problem getting replacement parts for it or working on the bike itself.

I bought a new Marukin from a leading department store in Hiroshima. In the past 6 years I have destroyed, completely, 6 bikes ... this Marukin will never die; total quality; best bike I ever had - I love speed but also lots of comfort and I have both ... the first bike brand I can honestly say I love....
