The sire, Legacy's Bonheur is by Beau Veneur (Selle Francais), an international A Grade showjumper, who was also awarded the prestigeous 'Plus De Dressage' title by the FEI commity. Beau Veneur in turn is by the world ranked sire of show jumpers, Grand Veneur. Grand Veneur is one of the highest BLUP rated horses ever in France and his progeny are noted for their wonderful temperament and their easy workability. Legacy's Bonheur dam is the German mare Weissgold who in turn is by the legendary Champion Hanovarian Weltmeyer. Weltmeyer is considered by some to the dressage stallion of the century.
The dam, the stunning Slightly Salted, (shown in picture with Filly) is a highly bred Thoroughbred mare out of Waldoboro (USA), whose grandsire is the legendary Mr. Prospector. Mr Prospector was one the the leading racehorse sires by the number of lifetime stakes winners, with a total of 165, including 18 European or North American champions.
