| | | Hi, I'm looking for a young or baby Roborovski Hamster. I've been looking for 1 for months and have been unsuccessful. There has only been 1 petstore near me that has them and they've only had the same 3 for the last couple months.
I'm actually thinking of purchasing the 1 and then getting her a companion from someone else. Maybe. However, i'd much rather a brand new baby that way I have time to bond with the the baby and hand tame it so it's not all skittish from being a pet store hamster its entire life so far. Another problem is the pricing at the pet store... they want $24.99 for 1 small hamster. I do not have that to spend on just the hamster, i have other things i need to worry about such as hamster food, vet care, etc. I also work at a vet hospital so care is not a problem either. A hamster in my care will be well taken care of.
