The Clumber Spaniel is a "mini gentle giant". They are a large dog in a short compact body. Weighing on average 55-75 pounds and standing 17-20 inches at the withers. Clumber Spaniels are white with lemon markings, thick neck and heavy chest with short powerful legs. Tails can either be natural or docked. Clumber Spaniels are a easy going loving dog who thrive on pleasing their owners whether it is in work or play. They are a active breed who love to play and hunt. Great bird dogs, and love the water. They are a gentle breed who can be aloof to strangers until they get to know them but never should be aggressive. Great dog for the active family, and wonderful with children.
