Free to a good home a 22 years old female African Grey Parrot with epilepsy. I've had her since she hatched, so she is hand raised. Epilepsy means, she has seizures. They started about 8 years ago. She has had multiple vet checks and the only thing the vet can find is a calcium deficiency. He recommends Calcium (crushed tums) to be added to her diet. But even with the calcium she still has seizures once a month for a couple days then they go away. Unfortunately the seizures will never go away. She has also some bald spots from nervous picking from the epilepsy. Unfortunately I have a new born and have not been able to give her the attention she needs. She's a great bird and will hang out on your shoulder or hand for as long as you'll let her. Her talking is limited to the word Hello and mimicking all sorts of noises around the house. She comes with a 5ft tall cage, carrier, toys and left over food. Feel free to call or email me with any questions. I really would like to see her go to good a home willing to take on her issues. Please email me if you need pictures and her stuff. | | | | | | | | | |
