16+ hand chestnut gelding for sale. 13yo ex-race horse. Oval star with connected stripe and right hind coronet. Very sweet and willing to please. I have owned since he was 6 right off the track. Until a year ago he was ridden consistantly on the flat and over fences. Only shown a few times, but loves to perform. His name is Barbers Chief or "Chief" for short. This big boy is in his prime and needs a home and partner that wants to show him off. He is the horse that mopes when not ridden. He is a bit out of shape at the moment. I had a baby a year ago and he took second priority. Needs an intermediate rider, calm and quiet. He is used to being ridden with leg cues and a steady hand. He has always been sound. Had a few issues of the track that required the chiropractor, but have been resolved. Loads, clips, stands for the farrier and just about anything else. To good loving home only, I do not want him to be passed off. Price negotiable to the right home. Buyer will have to transport as I can not.
