Our internship program is tailored to those considering a career in the equestrian industry, but need to advance their knowledge and skills in a supervised setting. Varied breeds, ages, and abilities of horses allow participants to experience different disciplines to varying degrees; hunt seat, dressage, western and driving.
Be Prepared and Forewarned! This is a physically demanding program that we take very seriously. Interns will be expected to assist with the completion of daily chores and operational requirements within the boundaries of their experience and current abilities, in addition to receiving training in other areas. Riding is not the only focus of this internship. We will work with each intern to make the most of their time spent on the farm. Other important aspects to develop include: Animal husbandry, development of young horses, ground training techniques, herd health and nutrition, special needs and rehabilitation.
