Excellent blood lines out of Julio del Amante and Ciencia de MiLe. This quiet soul comes to you willingly with no need to “catch” him. He is curious, trusting, engaged and makes a great friend and partner. He stands untied for saddling, farrier (willingly offers feet), loads willingly into a trailer and has no vices. This amazing horse stands still for mounting and waits for the rider’s request. While riding, if the rider starts to get off while in motion, he has been taught to stop. He stops, backs and goes forward from just seat cues, moves the front around the back, the back around the front, side passes, leg yields and is learning spins. He has a lot to offer a beginner, intermediate or advanced rider! Chico has spent the past two years in a herd of eight owned by a professional horseman, riding instructor and trainer. This boy has a solid foundation on the ground and under saddle and has participated in our riding lesson program. His confidence, experience and education makes him an excellent choice for the arena or trails. Chico has been ridden English and Western and goes well bit less in just a halter, a hackamore or with a snaffle.
