Cortez is a 7 year old 14.3 hh Mustang gelding. He is dark bay with a full black mane and tail, excellent feet (no shoes), UTD on shots, Coggins and dental. Cortez comes with a certificate of title, freeze mark and complete history since his capture in his native Nevada by the Bureau of Land Management. He is a true piece of America’s History. Cortez is a handsome boy and very gentle, intelligent, never aggressive and gets along great with other horses. He has been professionally ground schooled and newly started under saddle and ground driving in a halter by an Official Mustang Heritage Foundation Trainer. Cortez has a beautiful, suspended trot and great conformation. Cortez has been used as a lesson horse in Natural Horsemanship on the ground. He stands respectfully “ground tied” for saddling, farrier, vet, and dentist and is ready to be finished in the discipline of your choice.
