| | | Due to increased work and school loads, and an overwhelming pet dander allergy that several members of our family have developed, we’re being forced to re-home several of our beloved pets. The pets are very well cared for, and we hate to part with them, however we haven’t been able to give them the care they need and deserve with elevated stress from school and work that we’ve taken on in this year, and the allergies seem to be getting worse. Duke – 6 year old pure-bred Yorkshire terrier: Duke loves to play, and will play fetch with you for hours and hours, breaking only to catch his breath. He loves attention and he loves being in the yard chasing birds and squirrels, going for walks, taking car rides, and sitting by your feet while you watch TV. He’s not at all yippy, but he’ll let you know if someone’s in the driveway. He’s also quite fond of chasing cats, but he’s not much of a danger to them. He’s so used to getting swatted by our cats, that he’s very leery of their claws and teeth. He’s housebroken, and can sit, but doesn’t do well with staying just because he gets too excited. He’d be good for a family with kids, or as a companion for an active single person or couple.
