We are the largest public adjusting firm in the country. We’ve been around for about 16 years and are rapidly expanding, especially in IL. When a property owner, either residential or commercial, has damage to their property and needs to file a claim with their insurance company, our job is to represent them to the insurance company. This is similar to hiring a lawyer. Our job is to visit the property, inspect the damage and take care of all of the paperwork and red tape.
I want to emphasize that we don’t sell insurance or anything like that. We help people with their insurance problems. We also do not work for any insurance company. We are similar to consumer advocates for the homeowner. We negotiate with the insurance companies on behalf of policyholders. As a claims rep, we do a short presentation of our service and perform a property inspection to see if the policyholder has any covered damage, if they do we fill out the forms and send it on to corporate, who handle the rest. There is no estimating or negotiating on the part of the claims reps, we have personnel that handle that. We only fill out forms.
If this sounds like something you may wish to learn more about, the next step in the process will be to attend a pre-interview orientation. The purpose of this is to answer most of the questions you may have before we sit down for a formal interview. The orientation typically lasts about forty five minutes, and will cover information about the company, industry, job description and compensation plan.
No experience necessary. Training program for licensing available to the right applicants. Send resume/work history and contact info. David Welker Regional Manager and Corporate Recruiter | | | | | | | | | |
