I had a sneaky look at this book in my Weight Watchers class before it was released and wanted it straight away! I love Oriental food and have always wanted to cook Chinese dishes at home. I have always wanted to cook Chinese at home but thought it would involve lashings of oil - Weight Watchers have created this cook book and erased my doubts. It appears you can have it all; Chinese food the Weight Watchers way! A must have for any Weight Watchers following fan of Oriental Food! Great for BBQ's too - Francesca. x Here's a link to the recipe on the Weight Watchers website; [please contact me for website address] Ingredients; 500 g Beef, Mince, Extra Lean, Cooked, (1lb 2oz) 2 teaspoons (as purchased) Oregano, dried 2 teaspoons Soy Sauce, or Worcestershire sauce 1 individual Egg White, lightly beaten 1 pinch Salt 1/8 teaspoons (ground) Pepper, Black (Whole, Cracked or Ground) 4 roll(s) Bread, Roll, Sesame Seed, burger buns 4 leaf/leaves (small) Lettuce, shredded 4 teaspoons (level) Mustard, Wholegrain, (optional) 2 medium Tomato, sliced (optional) 2 medium Pickled Gherkin, or dill pickles, sliced (optional)
Hearty Meatless chili Weight Watcher style!!Straight out of my Weight Watchers Cookbook!! Hearty Meatless Chili Makes 6 servings Per serving 1 cup : 197 cal, 3g Fat, 10g fiber. 3 points per serving 1 Tablespoon olive oil 1 Large onion 1 green pepper 3 Garlic cloves 1 Jalapeno 1 28oz caned tomatoes 1 (12oz) package frozen soy protein crumbles 1/2 cup water 2 Teaspoons of chili powder 2 Teaspoons oregano 1 Teaspoon cumin 3/4 Teaspoon salt 1 (15oz) can red kidney beans rinsed and drained 1. Heat oil in a pan pr a dutch oven on med heat. add onion, bell pepper, garlic and jalapeno. 2. Add the tomatoes, soy crumbles, water, eggplant, chili powder, oregano, cumin, and salt. Bring to boil. reduce heat and simmer for 20 min. add the beans and simmer for anouther20 min till veggies are tender and enjoy! I like to use my crock pot i think the longer you cook it the better the flavor is. Also i sometimes add a package of chili seasonings. This is also good on rice or lettuce!!
