You may not know this but with sleeping, it's not just a case of how much sleep you get, what’s really important is the quality of the sleep.
If you sleep for a 12 hour period a night, but are constantly awakened then you're never going to reach the levels of deep sleep which your body requires. This results in you feeling sleeping the next day still as you are sleep deprived.
Over time this will lower your energy levels and will strain your health.
