WARNING: This Muscle Building Protocol is NOT FOR BEGINNERS. It's not even for INTERMEDIATE LIFTERS. It was SPECIFICALLY designed for ADVANCED lifters who are suffering from Anabolic Slow Down.
There's ONE DEVASTING THING Holding You Back From Building More Muscle... And it's Not Protein or Calories…
Look, I'm not here to waste your time... I'm not going to promise you are going to gain 50 pounds of muscle on this workout. Realistically, unless you're 18 and new to training, that just isn't going to happen. What I WILL promise you is a workout routine that is unique - unlike anything you've probably ever tried before, and I'll promise you it is an ADVANCED routine. In fact, consider this your warning - This workout is HARD.
Still here? ....Great
As an author and Nutrition Expert I have spoken at some of the World's most prestigious scientific conferences, been interviewed by various newspapers, magazines and radio shows and am considered a well-respected expert in the field of nutrition.
So why am I telling you this?
Because I want to make sure you know that I am legit.
Quite frankly, there is NO WAY I would put my professional reputation on the line to launch some boring cookie-cutter workout.
I solve problems, that's what I do. And sometimes I come up with some very unique solutions to very complex problems. And that's exactly what I did with Anabolic Again.
In fact, for me (a fat loss guy) to launch a muscle building program, you better believe that the program must be UNLIKE ANY OTHER MUSCLE BUILDING PROGRAM YOU HAVE EVER SEEN!
And you'd be right.
...but I'm getting ahead of myself.
Let me take you back to November of this year.
I was an invited speaker at a National Exercise Physiology Conference and had just arrived in Vancouver Canada (Just in time for the Winter Olympics). After a long flight I had arrived at my hotel and was about to check-in when I met an old friend and mentor.
Brad is that you? I heard from across the lobby.
There's only one! (I wasn't being cocky, it's just something I used to say)
Wow, you look exactly the same, just as lean as I remember you
Sure, to 99% of people this would be a compliment. But to me, there was something missing.
Firstly, I make a living helping people get lean, and staying lean myself, so being called lean really isn't that special.
No the part the got to me was the same as always
He may have said same as always but what I heard was you look no bigger than the last time I saw you, over 6 years ago!
Normally, I wouldn't stress so much over this, but my friend is the Dean of Physical Education and Health at one of Canada's most prestigious Universities. So he knows Muscle and he knows Body composition.
Alright I'm rambling again...
Here's what I'm getting at:
I've been training my ASS off for the last 6 years. And I looked EXACTLY THE SAME.
|Sure I was lean…but like I said - that’s nothing special.|
And it was true. My MUSCLE MASS had not changed in almost 6 years.
Why am I in the gym trying to build muscle and NOT GETTING ANYWHERE?
What a waste of time.
Needless to say, this stuck with me.
Even after my talk….it was still stuck in my mind.
The minute I got home I called up John Barban, my good friend, science editor of Eat Stop Eat and inventor of the Adonis Effect.
My question was simple… “What the Hell am I doing wrong?”
“Had I reached my Genetic potential?”
“Was this as big and strong as I was ever going to get?”
“Am I completely wasting my time in the gym?”
“Should I JUST GIVE UP?”
(Obviously giving up was not an option, but I was frustrated)
After a rather lengthy discussion with John, I decided there’s only one thing I could do.
Go back to the books.
I was expecting MONTHS of research, but It didn’t take long to realize what was going on.
There was evidence. And, lots of it.
Sure, it wasn’t OBVIOUS, but it was as close as you can get...
I was suffering from the exact same thing that most experienced lifters suffer from:
Anabolic Slow Down.
|Never heard of it? Don’t worry because neither had I…|
I’m still surprised that NOBODY is talking about this issue.
You see, once you get to a certain point (typically after gaining 10-20 pounds of muscle), your muscles actually FIGHT to stay the same size.
This is based on the principles of Homeostasis…after a while the same old stimulus (your typical workout schedule) just isn’t strong enough to cause your muscles to grow anymore.
We all know that you can’t just keep building more and more muscle, but I never really stopped to think about the reasons.
Is it the wrong set and rep combination?
That sounds too simple, and besides I had tried every workout under the sun from power lifting to bodybuilding to athletic style training, if there is a set and rep combination that worked I would have already come across it.
Then I thought it might be a special kind of rep, like a forced rep, or negative reps, or a special rep tempo…but I’ve tried all of those types of reps as well.
Maybe I was training too much? Or was it to little?
Maybe it was a special kind of set, super sets, giant sets, sub set, burnout set, triple set, compound set…but I’ve tried all of those types of sets as well.
It sure as hell wasn’t supplements, as I had access to an unlimited supply of the best bodybuilding supplements in the world (more on this later).
The answer was much more obvious. It was More Volume, More Progress, More Frequency AND More Rest.
More of everything.
But here’s the problem: You can’t have MORE EVERYTHING.
It’s just not possible.
There wasn’t a workout in existence that could overcome Anabolic Slow Down.
