I mean, how should I answer the question "do you play golf"? That is one of the questions that gives a chance for guys with "connections" to show-off who they've played golf with.

And when I get that way, I go against all the rules. I swore, this 150k+ job would be mine - no matter how tough the questions will be... and no matter how well-recommended other candidates will be - if you turn your weakness into a strength, you'll be able to choose where to work.
