3D Sony Bravia XBR-52HX909
According to Consumer Report Magazine, the Sony 3D Bravia took the best results of all the 3D TVs tested. This 52-inch 1080p Sony Bravia LCD TV, a 3D-capable model in its flagship XBR series, delivers excellent overall picture quality. We found its 3D depth to be generally effective, but there was noticeable ghosting on a variety of content when the viewer didn't keep his/her head completely vertical to the screen. It's laden with features, including an edge LED backlight with local dimming, a 240Hz set and access to a good amount of online content, including streaming movies from Amazon and Netflix, and the Hulu Plus service (this Fall). For 3D, the TV requires both an optional external sync transmitter, and active shutter 3D glasses. It's Wi-Fi-ready -- it will accept an optional adapter -- and it's DLNA-compliant, so you can view digital photos, music and videos stored on a PC via a home network. Check out link for best prices! |
