Many people assume that because they or their children have high allergy issues that a multi generation doodle will be less shedding. Not so. All doodles that come from a 5050 blend or comes from a Goldendoodle/Poodle mixture or Goldendoodle/Golden Retriever mixture, regardless of generation, are low shedding, low dander dogs. Smooth coat Goldendoodles could have a higher risk of shedding due to having more Golden Retriever, genetically, but remember.... All dogs go outside and can bring in allergans on their coat on a high pollen or allergan day and that there isn't a single hypoallergenic dog on the face of this planet! Even hairdog dogs shed! Many assume they are allergic to the dog when in fact, they are allergic to the pollens brought indoors from the dogs' coat when outdoors.
