These air pumps are designed to drive one box filter or undergravel filter air-stone in smaller aquariums (up to 10 gallons). Depending upon the air requirements of the main device, other air operated items, such as decorative airstones or air operated aquarium ornaments, may be combined with the proper use of an air valve to distribute the pumps output. The Elite 800 Air Pump is also a cost-effective way to add aeration to complement other filter types in larger aquariums.
