Today, all the experts are telling you to use sites like eBay to
earn income streams from your home. However, did you know that there are sites
that get four times the traffic of eBay and even Amazon? It may further surprise
you that these types of sites are social networks such as MySpace and Facebook.

Why the high value on sites that simply claim to be "a place for friends?" Well,
the truth lies in the fact that these sites are not just hubs for high school
and college students. If that were the case, why would every 2008 Presidential
candidate feel the need to create profiles on both of these sites? Instead,
these social networks have become incredible marketing tools, and some are
exploiting the opportunities there to rake in profits.
You never hear about these opportunities, however, because social networks are
thought to be just places that pre-teens go to talk about the hot girls in high
school. I guess it would make sense, then, that a teenager cracked the social
network code and made $754 in one day thanks to MySpace.

It's interesting to note that, while some people fret about affiliate traffic,
eBay sales being low, and Google cracking down on Adwords and making search
engine optimization more difficult, sites like MySpace and Facebook continue to
grow by leaps and bounds. There's got to be SOME way to tap that traffic and
turn it into revenue, doesn't there?
Imagine if you could harness the millions of hits that MySpace and Facebook get
on a daily basis. Alexa.com estimates that these networks get as many page views
does Google! Therefore, if you could redirect just a small fraction of that
traffic to yourself, you can expect to see amazing results.
Social networks continue to grow, and they are the biggest example of the Web
2.0 revoluation. If you have an existing business, you are missing out on
thousands of leads and sales if you are not investing time marketing on the
social networks. If you don't have a business, social networks give you a very
easy way to build one.
