Silver Grapefruit Spoons 6 & Knife Cased Art Deco 1939
This is a very good Boxed Set of 6 Art Deco Solid Silver Grapefruit Soons and a Bone Handled and Stainless Steel Bladed Knife. The spoons have large egg shaped bowls with pointed ends and an Art Deco shaped terminal. The slim knife has a bone handle and a stainles steel double serrated edged blade which is upturned at the very pointed end. The blade is stamped with the same makers marks as the spoons and also "Firths Stainless Steel Sheffield made in England". This set comes in its original black velour lined box

Dimensions: The spoons are 5.5 inches long and the bowls 2 inches long and 1.25 inches wide. The knife is 7 inches long. The total weight of silver for the 6 spoons is 6.25 oz (178g)
Condition: Overall this set is in good condition with just some slight staining to the bowls of the spoons and a couple of black spots on the blade of the knife. The box is in good condition inside with just a little wear around the edges of the outside, but this is only minor
Remarks: A very nice boxed set of 6 solid silver grapefruit spoons and knife, and if you did not want to keep it for yourself it would make an ideal engagement, wedding or silver wedding present
