Antique Silver Teaspoon
This is a very good antique Solid Silver Teaspoon being 173 years old. It has very clear hallmarks (apart from the 2nd letter of the maker). It does have an engraving on the terminal but this is quite faint and it is done in very old english writing and I cannot make any of the letters out.
Assay Office: LONDON
Date: 1834
Makers Marks: Possibly WILLIAM EATON
Dimensions: Just over 5.5 inches long, the bowl measures 1.75 inches long and just over 1 inch wide at its widest point. It is of a good weight and weighs approximately 1oz (26g).
Condition: In good condition with just very slight wear to the right hand side of the rim of the bowl which hopefully can be seen in the photograph, but this is very minor.
Remarks: A lovely old Solid Silver Teaspoon and a must for any collector of genuine antique silver.
