In all my years of trading, I have spoken to a number of private investors and the same subject comes up time and time again. How can the average investor profit in the market instead of getting very little gain from his or her investments? Surprisingly, it has nothing to do with the amount of money they can afford to invest. I've seen some of our students take an account of less than $500 and multiply their profits over and over until they have an account balance that would be the envy of anyone!

The problem is that most investors don't have access to the strategies and knowledge to determine the proper timing of their investments and not many professional traders have any interest in helping the small trader. So, the average person had to settle for some mutual fund and hope it would be worth something after thirty or more years.
