I have just (belatedly) finished reading your e-book, and want
to let you know that it was definitely worthwhile, and I learned
a great deal. I've only read 2 book-books (you know, printed,
with covers!) but had never run across several of your very
basic and -- I now know -- necessary-for-survival-in-trading
lessons.
The most important of these was the one on probability and money
management. I've been having a terrible time knowing where to
put stops, and how much to risk in my trading. Your table showing
risk ratio, coupled with the data on probability, really opened
my eyes. I began trading with $5000, and was down to $3700 (after
only 7 or 8 trades). Not okay! Now I see why I was losing --
I was risking too much, on trades where I didn't stand to gain
sufficient to offset the probability factor!
Also your data about a simple trend line, and breaking same.
I can't believe I never saw anything like this before! My brokers
never told me either of these major lessons.
Now I will (happily and eagerly) go to the additional lessons
