My wife and I took our four grandchildren to Myrtle Beach on vacation. We booked our trip through our own website. When we checked into the hotel we showed them our travel credentials, which you'll get, and they discounted our rooms by 50% and gave us upgraded rooms. Of course, I had to check out the bed, it slept good, the pool and the restaurant. I also had to check (play) some of the golf courses to see if they were any good. That's all the work I had to do. Guess what? By doing this I can deduct this vacation as a business expense. Plus, I'm getting a commission for booking through my own website.

With what we saved on this one trip more than offsets the costs of becoming a travel agent with YTB.

I started asking everyone I saw if they were getting paid to be on vacation? They couldn't believe what I shared with them. I just explained that if they become a travel agent with YTB they could deduct the trip they were on as a business expense. Everyone was excited, and we have helped several people get their business started. That's how simple it is.

Travel is not something you have to explain, everyone knows what it is.
