Using a professional dog trainer is the wrong choice. You are much better off doing your own dog training. This is because it's important for a dog to learn to behave around all people and in all areas. Often when you take a dog to a professional dog trainer he only learns to behave in that one area and not anywhere else. This doesn't work! Your dog needs to be trained by *YOU* so that he learns to behave everywhere. Use DIY DOG TRAINING.
