Recently, I was speaking to someone who told me he was trying to raise his conversion rate.
AdWords PPC Campaign Example Stats:
Impressions....Clicks - CTR..... Average CPC 90,274..............5,630 - 6.23% - .18
Cost............ Conversion Rate $1,001.20..... 1.01% (average 2%)
I asked him had he captured his 5,630 clicked through prospects (targeted leads) that cost him $1,001.20. His answer was no. He stated his concern was his conversion. I told him... I understood his concern about his low conversion rate and it sounded like he will have to invest the time to review and optimize his landing page to get a better conversion rate. Lets do the math $1,0001.20 X 12 months equals $12,036.40 and 5,630 click throughs X 12 months equals 66,560 "highly qualified targeted prospects" that he did not capture, he dosen't have a chance to build a relationship and he is unable to re - promote his product or offer other products. He started this month with no real prospect list of his own to promote his products except his customer list. Why? Because he is not capturing his AdWords List!
