Conan is a very nice 10 yo gelding about 17.1 tall. He is on the small side for a percheron - maybe 1700 pounds. He is generally well mannered (though the colt in him still shines through on occasion and needs to know whoever is handling him knows what they are doing) and has been used to train young children to ride in the past. He has not done much in the past couple years and will definitely need tuning up before he is ready for regular riding. Conan is a horse that needs a job to do (would make a great patrol/mounted equine unit horse!) and he is not getting that around here.He has no vices (he has been known to go through fences in the past) and gets along great with other horses. Likes people (not a mean bone in him) and has a good mind for learning, loves to work and play. Saddle and riding tack included if interested. He deserves/needs more attention than my busy schedule allows. In Sonora. Price negotiable. There have been quite a few inquiries on Conan, mostly novice riders who want a pretty horse - he is not that horse. He is a horse for someone who understands training horses and has the time to comit to him. He has great potential, not dull, is curious, loves to interact with people, wants to work (and play of course). Most of the pictures were taken July 4th 2011.
