| | | | Hello, my name is Mary. I am joining the Military soon and do not want to sell my horse Thor. I am trying to either look for a couple people to lease long term while i am gone, OR a trade. Meaning, me moving out Thor to a desired area. Would like him to stay within reach though. I live in San Francisco, he is boarded in Pacifica. Thor is about 16.3-17 hands and very thick. I want someone that is able to ride him with care and experience. Though Thor is a very calm and slow moving horse, i need someone experienced enough to stop him if he ever decides to take off randomly. I've had him for over a year now. He is very good with other horses and people. Loves attention and needs to be ridden more. He is currently under training every Friday with me and a trainer. He is a bit rusty but he is making great progress. Thor has never bucked or taken off with me, rarely spooks. He is very willing to learn, just needs someone who can encourage him to push harder and quicker due to his size. Thor is the stable's most popular horse. I ride him under an English saddle, he has been ridden Western with his previous owner. That was the dominant pleasure. He used to be a labor horse, and did some lancing. The leasers will be using my tack and grooming supplies if they like. Leasers do not have to feed or clean stalls. Just ride and groom. The stable in which i board Thor has a very large hooded arena, one medium hooded arena, round pen, small open arena, mountains of trails and several turn outs.
