The facts about Chicago, if you’re like me when someone mentions facts most of us inadvertently get that bored look on our faces. You know it’s the basic ‘need to know’ this stuff but facts can be so dry!
So let’s take a look at a few of the interesting and fun facts about Chicago:
➢ One of my favorite things about this city is the people, they’re warm and friendly and they really welcome visitors all 45 million a year!
➢ The city has 2.8 million in the 89 miles of the city, but with the surrounding suburbs the population is about 13 million or so.
➢ Well the weather is never boring, it can change from moment to moment so be sure to check the weather before you go, it can range from about 80 to 100 in the summer time.
➢ The city has great public transportation, the trains, and busses are pretty efficient for getting from point A to B in Chicago.
➢ Chicago has a lot of cultural celebrations including, art, music, architecture, food, and Theater.
➢ The city became the first city to begin building skyscrapers, and they did this just after the Great Chicago Fire of 1871.
