Rottiebears are the smallest toy breed Rottweiler mastiff. They have the big dogs’ classic body shape, and color, but are miniature in size. Points may be tan, silver, or mahogany accenting their shining jet black coats. Some are chocolate. Being a light weight molosser they have less tear and wear on their joints so they have not developed hip dysplasia and arthritis like some standard Rottweillers have done. They are a size that appeals to people who love the beautiful Rottweiler yet cannot keep one. This could be due to size restrictions placed by housing units. Rottiebears are ideal for city and apartment. They typically reach only 5 to 15 lbs. in weight! They get most of their exercise just moving around in the house so daily walks are optional. Some people find they can’t control the strength and vigor of the standard sized Rottweiler because of their own physical limitations...and if you want to be able to pick up your dog then this is the choice for you. Rottiebears are lithe and muscular loving to play and romp. And they are proven not snappish and safe enough for a child. Rottiebears even make great therapy dogs because they are consistently loving and gentle natured. They are devoted to their families. We recommend them a travel companions too because they are not especially heat sensitive and are not stranger or dog agressive. They train well and don’t have special grooming or health needs.
