How to Get a Beekeeper's License
The licenses and permits that you need for your business will depend on the city and state in which your business is located. Not all states require the licensing of beekeepers.
You want to contact your state's Department of Agriculture to find out about getting a beekeeping license (apiary license). You can start by going to your state's website. Apiaries do need to be registered in the state and inspected, and this is also done through the Department of Agriculture.
