Since its founding in 1954, Timmerman has provided thousands of Columbia-area and Midlands children with the city's finest educational experience. In addition to the basic academic subjects, the school also provides exposure to and training in Spanish, computer science, the arts, and physical education. The school consist of classes ranging from three-year-old kindergarten to the eighth grade and also provides an on-campus, after-school care program during the academic year. During the summer months, Timmerman hosts an extended care program as well as academic and athletic camps for all students. At Timmerman, we are convinced of the mastery on the elementary level of the basic fundamentals of reading, writing skills, and mathematics.
