| | | | This beautiful 5 year old bright bay 16 hand mare is a 3/4 Quarter Horse-Percheron cross. She has been under the care of a single owner since she was a weanling. She has experience on the trails, in parades and drills at Civil War reenactments, including standing for gun fire and other historical activities. Baby has been trained for both English and Western. She is just starting her English arena work. She knows her basic aids- walk, trot, canter on both leads, whoa, back and turns with legs and reins. Started over fences. She has a soft mouth and uses a Western shank or a simple snaffle. Great for the farrier and could easily go barefoot. Stands without a fuss, loves to be bathed, hauls well in the trailer, overall an uncomplicated mare. Very sweet disposition, has never been spoiled so she has no bad habits! No spook, no buck, rear or bolt. She is big enough for a man to ride. Baby is a great mover, with knee action and suspension. She has a sport horse potential and could fit in a dressage ring, become a hunter jumper or a great trail horse. She can go in any direction her next owner wants.
