Horses located in Ramona. Will accept those outside of area within reason.
Three horses available for temporary lease. Have to move, don't want to have them just sitting in a pasture, or be forced to sell them as it may be a while until I can find a horse property. Good opportunity to see if you would like owning a horse prior to buying one, or even if you just need a pasture pet for a while! All are desensitized to dogs and automotives, and good on trail.
Will require that you sign a contract. Will request barn owner/manager(if applicable), vet, farrier, and at least 2 personal non family referrals. Insurance is recommended and may be required depending on situation.
Can get pictures/video upon request.
Sassy- Registered name Miss. Bo Jangles. 15.3hh.

Previously trained in hunt seat(was shown once, won 4th and 6th place)
Just started training for endurance.
Single or double rein
Big sweetheart who loves people, and loves to show off. Desensitized to cars, semis, dogs, kids, and all the things and noises associated with shows!
Loads and unloads, doesn't care about baths, and is great with clippers(besides ears due to a previous trainer). Will pony or be ponied, and doesn't care if another horse is right up on her.
Will take care of a new rider on a lunge or when being ponied, but a intermediate rider is recommended if you don't have a trainer, this mare can go fast if you let her! She is a alpha mare who sometimes needs a firm yet soft hand, but if take care of her, she'll take care of you.
Endurance horse, registered with AERC
Hard to catch if not handled for a while
Goes western or english(does not neck rein)
Tough little mustang that can go far without issue. Needs a confident soft hand, not recommended for beginner riders.
Great on the trail. Will go up and down steep hills with no issue, and loves the water! Just wants to go go go out on trail. Has strong tough feet! Doesn't mind dogs or vehicles, even semis.
Loads and unloads. Fine with baths. Doesn't mind clippers at all. Ponies and can be ponied without issue. Couldn't care less if a horse is brushing right up on her or a ways away on the trail.
Ex barrel racer
Ex drill team horse
Currently used for trails
Shod on front
Like a giant puppy. Loves to be loved, and will follow you around. Intermediate rider recommended, but is good with beginners with supervision. Would be great for a beginner rider who's almost but not quite ready for a intermediate horse. Can make you tell him what to do instead of ask, would be a good teacher for a rider who's ready to learn how!
Doesn't mind clippers at all, not a fan of long baths, but he'll just wiggle a bit. Good around dogs, cars, semis, kids, ect.
Ponies and can pony. Doesn't care if a horse brushes against him on trail. Low on the herd totem pole, won't retaliate against more senior herd members.
*Slightly under weight and muscled. Regaining steadily but will need to be brought back into moderate work slowly.
