|On farm lease only. Noon is the sweetest soul you will ever meet. He is the best confidence booster you can ask for and perfect for getting back into riding. He loves to teach people and he is very good at it. He can hack around a walk trot rider one day and do a jumping lesson the next. He truly can challenge any level rider just enough to teach them something at the end of every ride. I bought him to move up from Pre-Childrens to the Childrens Eq and showed with him last year in that. He went to Saugerties this past summer and we brought home some really nice ribbons and Reserve champion in the Maiden Eq out of 29. He is only 9 but his mentality is to die for. You don’t have to be afraid to put anybody on him. I stand up on his back and ride him around and he couldn’t care less. I have put a 6 year old on him to walk trot and a 10 year old who needed a little jumping confidence after her pony threw her off, needless to say her legs barely went halfway down his side. He is the best stepping stone to go from the cross-rails or 2’ to the 2’6” or to get a 2’6” rider ready for the 3’. Or even as a horse to get you back into riding. He is a very comfy eq horse and a nice mover for the hunters. Very sound. He will jump anything you put in front of him. Very trustworthy and you don’t have to worry about him stopping or hesitating. I pointed him at a mounting block before and he took it without question. He is a true teacher and as long as you are doing your part, he is more than happy to do his!|
He is for free lease but you are responsible for his board($700/month), shoes($225/8ish weeks), and baseline supplements($100/month). You can ride him 3 to 4 times per week plus a mandatory lesson at least 3 times a month. There are 2 instructors available for lessoning. I will continue to do a schooling ride on him once a week to make sure he stays in good condition. The lease will take place at the Glastonbury Hunt Club on 177 Bailey St, Glastonbury, CT. The facility offers a beautiful barn, wash stall with hot and cold water, 29,000 sq ft outdoor, 29,000 sq ft indoor (biggest in New England), a 65 acre field to ride around and jump in when the weather is nice, grass paddocks, etc. It is truly beautiful.
