| | | We have 3 sugar gliders that need a new home. We will be moving after the holiday and cannot take them with us. There is one female joey 10 weeks oop and her 3 year old parents. This is the first time they only had one baby instead of 2. They are all very sweet and loving. They have all also been handle with love and care by my family since they were very little. I am not willing to let 1 go on its own unless you have others, then that can be discussed. Sugar Gliders only do well in colonies. There must be more than one if you want a happy healthy pet. Otherwise, they are said to go into depression.
The sugar glider (Petaurus breviceps) is a small, omnivorous, arboreal gliding possum belonging to the marsupial infraclass. The common name refers to its preference for sugary nectarous foods and ability to glide through the air, much like a flying squirrel. Due to convergent evolution, they have very similar appearance and habits to the flying squirrel, but are not closely related.
Sugar gliders can be found throughout the northern and eastern parts of mainland Australia, and in Tasmania, Papua New Guinea and several associated isles, and certain isles of Indonesia and the Bismarck Archipelago.
The cage is 63 1/4" tall with stand and cage combined. The cage alone measures 17 3/4" wide x 30 1/2" long x 36" tall. It comes with all the accessories and a container of vitamins. We are asking $400 for all. You can send questions by e-mail or call 502-381-7482. | | | | Click here or scroll down to contact me about this ad | | | | | | | | Image 1
