Say hello to Annie, the sweetest snuggliest terrier mix you'll ever meet! She's a total people pleaser and extremely trainable due to her attentiveness. She is 2 y/o, fixed, fully house-trained, up to date on vaccinations, knows sit and lie down, and loves to snuggle after she runs and plays all day. She is great with all other dogs (small and large). We've only had her for a short amount of time - unfortunately we adopted her from a shelter and she wants nothing but to attack our cat and therefore we cannot keep her. That being said, we have fallen in love and want to make sure we can be a part of finding her the perfect forever-home because she is the PERFECT dog.

Annie is fairly good on the leash. With some quick reminders she knows to stay to your right side and not to pull so much, but before us you can tell she didn't have much training. With some experience on the leash she would be great. She loves the Canton dog park (fully enclosed with lots of puppy friends), if you live near that area of Baltimore. She is a terrier mix and does have a lot of energy, but taking her for a good walk every day makes her a calm sleepy dog... Because of her high energy she MUST go to an active household that can provide her with a good walk every day, or has a fully fenced in backyard for her to run and play in. We would also like to make sure that her name is not changed as she responds well to Annie and it is one less thing to stress her rehoming experience.

She enjoys to be with people and pays more attention to them than other dogs, so for the first few days she will want nothing but to be right next to you, on top of you, getting lots of love. She has shown to be good with kids but she definitely gets more excited around them, therefore she would be best in a home with older children. She hasn't left my side since I've adopted her and when I do leave, she sits and waits patiently for me to get back - such a loyal girl. Although she is a total lovebug she is also independent and we found that she is happy sleeping on her bed during the day when we leave the house. She has had NO accidents since we have adopted her and knows to let out a little whine if she's really gotta go! Her previous owner reported some crate training, but I do not have a crate and she does fantastic in the home without one.

Annie will come with all of the things we bought for her when we adopted her. This includes a full 18 lb bag of dog food to get you started, a food bowl, a leash/collar/harness, 2 balls, a rope, a bunch of chewies and treats. She also came down with Kennel Cough after we adopted her - no thanks to the shelter we got her from :( - so with her you will get the necessary medications to be able to make her a healthy happy puppy again (in just a week or two). Throughout the process of fostering her we have spent over $300 to get her some wellness visits and healthy again after leaving the shelter, therefore we do ask a rehoming fee of $250.

Please email if you think Annie is a good fit for you and your household! We truly hate to say goodbye, but the safety of our family (other pets) comes first :( Please include your housing/yard situation and why you are looking for a dog in your email.

Also, please DO NOT WASTE MY TIME if you are not a serious inquirer. Annie is a VERY special dog and deserves the very best home. If your first question about the adoption is how much the rehoming fee is or whether or not is negotiable, I WILL NOT RESPOND. The rehoming fee is there partly to ensure that she goes to a good home. If you can't afford that fee, I apologize for my honesty, but you probably can't afford the costs of taking care of a dog... *Can you tell that I'm bitter and sick of getting calls from people who aren't serious dog owners?!*

Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you :)
