Hello, I really hope I am doing this right. I live just out of Atlanta georgia. I have a wonderful cane corso italian mastiff named Brie. She is aprox 5 or 6 years old and she is fixed. She was a rescue from a Breeder when she was 2. She was a gift so I don't know the breeder, and I wouldn't return her even if I did (bad situation). She is my ESA pet and she does her job well. She is not one of those take to a restaurant service dogs. Her job is at home supplying comfort and letting me know when something is off. She allows me to be home alone when needed. I have read and tried to find the perfect way to rehome her, i mean asking anyone with ears to spread the word. I'm really tired of reading how horrible I am for not keeping her for life. I am ill and have become too weak to give her what she needs. She deserves a yard and an owner who can take her out for more than a 3 minute walk. I have to time my walks with her to avoid "traffic" as we just moved to an apartment where dogs outnumber humans. Brie DESERVES more. She is strong but is not aggressive but simply needs more socialization than I can give. She lives in a home with 2 cats and she has never has had a problem. She has never given that distinctive "I'm gonna eat you, see my teeth" growl, just barking and wants to smell and play, the "hey, you look cool, wanna be friends" bark. I am trying to find her a new home urgently, I am at the point of advertising with a less than optimal list if I can't find anyone who will give Brie what i cannot. If you cannot take her I ask that you tell anyone with ears about her. My health has dictated a more urgent need for a family for Brie. Thank you for your time, and thank you for what you are doing to keep all of these pets safe!
