Daughter developed allergies that we can't get under control. Tabitha would like a home where she gets lots, hopefully most of the attention. She was raised with kids and cats. She would not like a dog that barks loudly. She chose my husband as her favourite but I am her favourite when he is not home. :) She is SO loving, loyal, and intelligent you would not believe it. However we were on "probation" with her for months until she finally decided that our family was acceptable Once that happened, she has been an attention seeker ever since. Your probation period might not be as long as she was a kitten for most of it. She is very well socialized and now comes to see new people at the door. She is the Queen of the house and you need to accept that. We call her the "Twist Tie Bandit" as she stealthily steals the twist tie from our loaf of bread in the morning. Once successful, she insists on playing fetch with it incessantly. She has NEVER been aggressive. In fact, she has been harassed by other male cats in our household. She will carry on a conversation with you, but usually she is demanding something, like "throw the tie", or "I need scratching", or "sit down so I can sit on your lap". She has been blind in one eye since birth robbing her of depth perception. She winces if she sees you reaching for her, but lately I think it is for dramatic purposes only. She is very healthy, up-to-date with shots. She will need regular teeth cleaning by a vet to control her gingivitis - a common problem with Siamese. She has been well-loved and will be missed terribly.
