Hello! My name is Hannah. I have a bit of an animal problem lol. I have 4 dogs and 2 cats. All the animals get along expect my older cat, Emmy. She's a very loving and sweet cat but she just doesn't get along with other pets.
Why I'm finding Emmy a new home- I can tell she's not happy. I love Emmy very much, and I've had her since she was a kitten, so it's going to be terribly hard to get rid of her. I don't want to take her to a shelter because I can't stand the thought of her living in a cage the rest of her life. I'd really like to find her a nice home with no other pets.
About Emmy- Her full name is Emerald because of her green eyes. We call her Emmy for short; Emerald when she's in trouble lol. She's five years old. Very spoiled. She doesn't require a lot of attention. She'll let you know when she wants some love by meowing at you and rubbing all over your legs. She does let me hold her, but only me. When she gets comfortable with you, I'm sure she'd let you hold her too. But she's perfectly content with just sitting on you lap while you watch TV or read. When Emmy gets comfortable with you, she'll sleep in the bed with you. Sometimes just at your feet but when she's extra lovable she'll cuddle up with you. Loves sitting in the window but hates being outside.
A few guide lines- Must keep the litter box cleaned regularly. She's very particular. She loves treats (Salmon flavored is her favorite). Does not do well with other pets. She's going to be very shy at first. She might stay in her kennel the first few days. But as soon as she's comfortable, she's extremely loving. Shots are up to date. Her front claws are declawed and she's fixed.
Things I'm more than happy to provide-
🔹A litter box
🔹A kitty bed
🔹Some food to start off with
🔹A bag of treats
What I Require-
🔹No other pets. Especially dogs. I will not let her be adopted if you own any dogs, even outside ones.
🔹 Must be indoors. She's always been an indoor cat. Even if you try to put her outside, she runs back in.
🔹 Preferably no children. If they do well with animals then that'd be fine.
🔹 Will do everything to prevent her into going to a bad home. If for some reason it doesn't work out with Emmy, give her back to me and I'll find her another home. Do not give her to a shelter. Do not give her to a random person you do not know. Cats are so often abused, used as bait, put in dog fights. Please do not let this happen.
🔹 Exchange contact information. This will benefit both of us! If you have any questions, complaints, or concerns, I'm happy to help! I would like to check in just on occasion to see how she's doing.
