We have had 'Chance' for 3 years and she has been a wonderful pet. My son has been getting many respiratory issues lately and after being tested for allergies, he came up positive for cats. We also have a dog but that did not test positive for some reason, perhaps different type of fur. We need to do whatever we can to try to minimize his discomfort and get him better. Chance has been a sweetheart to us. She is very mellow and loves to snuggle. She has been an indoor pet besides going out in our secure patio with us. She does not like loud noises (most cats don't), and I think it would be better for her to be in a home with no kids. She just wants to relax with her owner and not have any drama (kids). She gets along great with our dog (Mini Pin/Chihuahua mix), but she probably would prefer to be the only lady of the house or be with other cats in her age group. Her front claws are declawed (we got her that way), she is blind in one eye (doesn't slow her down in any way), and has been spayed. When we adopted her she had a lump on her neck which is still there. We had a biopsy done of it and it came back negative for anything. It has not grown in the three years we have had her. She has a microchip, but we never had her registered. We can give that information to you if you are interested in registering her. We have not had her in to the vet in the last couple of years or given her any shots. We just want Chance to have a chance at a good home and live out the rest of her years in a nice quiet, safe place. She deserves it and it breaks our heart to have to adopt her out. We have a litter box, mats, and litter tray that comes with her. We are not asking for any money for her. We will be 'interviewing' people before deciding who is the best fit for her because that is what is important to us. Please call 480-280-6501.
