What is Aquaponics?
Aquaponics is a food production system based upon mother-nature’s own method of recycling fish waste by feeding it to plants. In a nutshell, that’s the bare-bones definition. It is highly adaptable to home-based use, is low maintenance, produces very high amount of food/area (food density), and requires very little external inputs.

The ECO-Cycle retrofit system turns any standard 20 gallon aquarium, or any aquarium with a 12" x 24" footprint, into a productive garden (aquarium not included).
Included in the kit: ECO-Cycle Aquaponics (1) Grow tray (1) Grow tray pot-holder (1) Grow tray filter cover (1) Grow tray door (1) Pre-filter sponge (1) Bio-filter brick (13) Net pots (2) Liters of expanded clay pellets (1) 1/2" Fill fitting (1) 3/4" Drain fitting (1) Micro-JetTM water pump (1) 12" Pump hose (1) Built-in 7 watt bright LED tank light (1) LED 12v power supply (1) Double 24" high-output T5 fluorescent grow light fixture (1) Adjustable grow light hanging assembly
This is literally the only "plug and play" kit out there that works. Plants need light. Kits without lights need to be set in the sun in order to grow healthy plants. Once you do that your fish tank or beta bowl will be trashed by algae. This kit holds 13 pots with plenty of grow room as opposed to 1 to 3 plants. The light adjusts up and down to accommodate plant growth. Has a separate light for the tank to display your fish beautifully. It is also not a DIY where you end up wondering if you want it around your house. It is a sharp looking kit and can be a part of the furniture in any home.
