Serial #44XX, sterling silver including key mechanism, drawn tone holes, French pointed arms, open hole, A=442, offset G, split E mechanism, B foot with gizmo, 14k gold lip plate and riser on headjoint in addition to being lined in gold for warmth and projection. The headjoint on this flute is an Altus S cut, offering slightly more resistance and greater tone color than their traditional cut.
This well maintained Altus is a pleasure to play and technique is effortless thanks to the light action of the mechanism. Intonation is spot on, as expected with a Bennet scale flute, and traveling from one register to another is seamless. Tone is rich, round, full, and warm, making this an ideal flute for a variety of musical styles and settings. In pristine condition, this flute has no blemishes to speak of and pads have plenty of life to offer.
A model 1207 boasts the same features as a 1307 but does not have a .958 Britannia silver headjoint and body; a 1307 retails new for nearly $9,000.
This flute comes with a French style case, cleaning rod, and Altus leather case cover. You may purchase this flute with PayPal but we also offer a no hassle complimentary 7 day trial to ensure this flute is a perfect match for you. Credit cards, PayPal, checks welcome.
