What Is VidaCup? Is It A Legit Business Opportunity?
Founded just a few months ago and in pre-launch phase right now, a new company called VidaCup is promising big things are just around the corner.
What is VidaCup?
VidaCup is one more company on the market offering “a unique” and “proprietary” secret aimed at helping people look younger and feel beter through the miracle of… mushrooms and coffee!?
Yes, you read that right. And you know what else? they are not the first.
VidaCup is hedging their bets on “the age-defying ingredients” they use, including their “organic H1X1 Super Concentrate Agaricus Blazei” (translation: organically grown mushrooms), along with other, high-antioxident ingredients like resveratrol (the potent stuff in red wine) and grape seed extract, all combined with that staple of morning routines everywhere: coffee.
They have other offerings, including packets that can can be added to water or other beverages (their Facebook page has a picture of it being added to a “lemonade” from Hardee’s/Carl Jr.’s)
What’s their unique offer?
Vidacup claims that they’re “focusing on the coffee niche because of its large market potential and the social nature of the product.”
Their web site claims that Vidacup was recently awarded the exclusive distribution rights “to what many believe is the most potent immune modulator on Earth; a new enzyme isolating extraction of the H1X1 Agaricus Blazei Murill mushroom.” Vidacup products will be infused with this super concentrate, which some clinical studies are showing to be beneficial at supporting health-functions in some people.
it is not clear whether these benefits will actually survive the regular brewing process – occassionally the heating of various enzymes, such as those found in the Agaricus Blazei Murill mushroom, can destroy some or all of the actual health benefits.
Is VidaCup a Scam, or is it Legit?
From a purely business perspective: Yes, VidaCup is a legitimate business.
They offer a product which may or may not have health benefits, and they market them according to the FDA guidelines. (Some nutritional product associations have had a difficult time in the past with keeping their representatives in line with official FDA policies, but the businesses themselves are very careful in their wording, and VidaCup is no different.)
One unique offering Vidacup is introducing is a free sign-up period, during which anyone may join Vidacup and have access to a brand new marketing systems platform that encompasses social media promotion. This should aid them create an initial splash into the marketplace.
VidaCup operates as a direct-marketing company following the MLM/Network-Marketing compensation scheme models. To earn, distributors will combine personal sales volume and organization sales volume with personal consumption amounts, which fuels initial success and blurs the line between business partner and distributor.
Is VidaCup Right For Me?
You can be pretty sure that VidaCup is a sound business, in the same way companies like Sobe beverages or RedBull are legit associations: They all offer beverages with purported health benefits and caffeine.
The question then becomes: do you need to market those kinds of products?
The reality is over 90% of MLM reps and Network Marketing Distributors fail in their first year, many failing repeatedly in multiple associations. often it has to do with the type of business or the products and services offered, but usually it has to do with the agent or distributor’s comfort level with endorsing such products to friends and family (and complete strangers, which is sometimes easier).
The market is flooded with similar offerings, so standing out will certainly be a problem many distributors will face in the market at large. they’re not even the first mushroom/coffee brand. Organo Gold might hold the rights to being the “first” in that category, though they have come under fire for not complying with FDA requirements. it is yet to be seen whether VidaCup will have similar issues.
